The incumbent will be responsible for tactical coordination of logistics activities within the manufacturing site. This will include the oversight of import and export of all materials in support of total site business including affiliates and vendors/suppliers, and support of productivity initiatives enhancing service, reducing costs, as well as standardization of logistics practices and informational flows within the site and with affiliates. You will work closely with Procurement, Planning, Warehousing and the Asia Pacific regional logistics hub to ensure timely and cost effective shipments and deliveries. You will foster internal and external relationships, perform aligned objectives, and understand site, country and regional requirements regarding supplier selection, supplier management, and supplier performance. You are also expected to coordinate and report monthly performance, EA tracking, and spend, as well as meet cost savings goals. Requirements: • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or transportation industry. Procurement, distribution, or finance experience also a plus Lean and Six Sigma training and experience including Green Belt or Black Belt Certification are considered advantages
